It’s another sunny day in the Chicagoland area and I decided to start my day with a lovely peanut butter banana smoothie… Yummy!
Makes: 8oz glass (double for 16oz)
1 tbsp light peanut butter
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup 2% milk (soy, almond milk etc.)
6-8 ice cubes
Method: place cut banana, peanut butter, honey and milk in the blender. Blend until partially combined. Add ice and blend until smooth.
Cals: 291 per 8oz glass
In weekend news:
P had great success in her quest to get Peyton potty trained. A mist having a fun-filled weekend with family and friends Peyton has officially graduated to big girl panties and wears the “princess crown” at school for being a Potty Rock Star and staying dry all day…. (insert round of applause!) YAYAYYA!!! 🙂 The use of Huggies are fully restricted for long car rides and bedtime.
I can only pray potty training my busy boy will go as well.
We nixed the aquarium for a walk on the lake front that lead us to zoo (3.2 miles total). We had loads of fun and Yus spent at least 10 minutes trying to wake up the gorilla. He kept hitting the glass saying, “Wake-UP” and then would look at J and I and shrug his shoulder and say, “No, Wake-Up”.
