Workout Wednesday: Stretching

It feels great to get in a good stretch after a workout.  It also feels good to stretch as a form of relaxation to loosen up tight muscles.

Benefits of stretching:

  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Increased range of movement in the joints
  • Enhanced muscular coordination
  • Increased circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
  • Increased energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
