I have been doing Zumba in my living room since August, just me, myself and sometimes the boys. 🙂 I did a search yesterday to see if I could find a drop-in class on the weekends to attend so I can feel more a part of the Zumba movement and to work out in a class setting and I found something so much better!
During my search I stumbled upon W3 (Women’s, Workout & Wellness) a gym exclusively for women. That means no juice heads, no weight slamming, no guys gawking, just women working out. I have to admit; I have been driving past the place for at least a year now and didn’t even realize it.
The atmosphere is nice and the gym is clean. They have group classes, group training, and a cardio and weights section, everything you need in a gym. I spoke with Melissa at the Downers Grove location, who was really nice and got me thinking more about the best ways to meet, accomplish, and exceed my fitness goals. Thanks girl! 🙂 I have been liking the ease of waking up and working out in the morning but having the option (on the weekends) to take a class and burn some serious calories in a group setting is a great alternative to break up my one-women-in-home fitness show. Here are some of the classes they offer on the weekends that I will be trying.

Don’t these look like fun classes! 🙂 I can’t wait to get my sweat on.
