Extra Extra read all about it!!!! Nkoyo Gave Birth To Her Second Son!!!
Yes, that is correct on May 31, 2013 Co delivered another healthy baby boy. He weighed in at 8lbs and was 21 inches long.
He is so handsome. Mom, Dad and big brother Yus are all adjusting well to the new addition.
So, we live in a 2 bed room condo and moving was just not an option for us. I’m in the early stages of turning Yus’ room into a shared room. It’s seriously a work in progress and testing my design needs vs wants. The room isn’t that large but large enough for a crib and twin bed and with the strategic placement of items and organizing the closet it will work just fine.
This weekend Yus’ big boy bed arrived which was very exciting. He laid in it and jumped on it, making me feel so great. So, the co-sleeping weaning process has begun. Clearly, I know this won’t happen over night but my thought is that by the time the baby comes home he’ll be sleeping most of the night in his own bed. So it’s a work in progress. The twin bed purchased from here is a slightly darker shade of brown than I thought it would be but the contrast is quickly growing on me.
I’m having the hardest time deciding on bedding. As I don’t want the typical character theme room as I know he’ll soon want something different and I’d rather have him pick it when the times comes. So, I’m leading more towards a solid color bedding that blends well with the crib bedding we have (not pictured). We are using a different crib bedding as Yus currently associates the crib has his. I’ll make the switch once the screws come in, so we can turn the toddler bed back into a crib.
The theme of the room is Arts & Crafts with the main focus being the chalkboard wall (just half the wall). I have few a projects lined up before the room is officially complete so another post is to come.
The wall projects of course were found via pinterest. For more on the projects visit here and here.
Have you ever done a shared nursery if so please lend your advise?
